One of the biggest mistakes I see contractors make is pursuing every government contract they qualify for. Just because you can bid doesn’t mean you should. Before investing time and resources into a proposal, ask yourself:
- Does this opportunity align with your capabilities?
- Can your business finance the work?
- Do you have the right team to successfully perform the contract?
The goal isn’t to win more contracts it’s to win the right contracts that are profitable, support your long-term growth, and position your business for future success.
